Our Story

The concept was coined by the Founder, Geeta Pendaer, whilst delivering a Mental Health and Wellbeing Show on a Community Radio Station in Leicester. Geeta soon realised that most of her clients from the show were 'men.'  Her work continued to support men and their  issues/concerns around their mental health, having a full understanding of 'where they were coming from.' It was only until, one client realised her innate ability to understand and 'get men' (not in the sense that some may think!) he went on to tell her that 'she speaks bloke,' and her response was, 'YES, I Speak Bloke,' which started the ball rolling and the birth and manisfestation of 'I Speak Bloke' and 'Radio Bloke' came to fruition.   

Radio Bloke aims to entertain with a provision of advice, music, sport, news, meditation and oodles of information that frequently is so hard to find and or access for men, especially anything mental health. We will promote good Mental Health/Well-being but will always bear in mind the things that make men 'tick,' enjoy and much more.

We are here to remove the barriers between the genders, too often created these days by agenda driven politics and the other 'P' word that is destroying men, everywhere. We aim to 'UP-LEVEL and bridge the Mars and Venus Gap, tear down the barriers and divisions and just create a space of understanding.

We have a an amazing team of 'like-minded' stellar presenters who fully embrace our ethos. These amazing people will have have a story or ten for you. In addition, we will have a plethora of information, advice and support, and let's not forget the great music, bringing 'everyone' together, no matter your gender, age, race and the list can go on and on and on.
